Introduction

This month we share the details of our Fearless Culture programme, point you to all you need to know about culture, and review an EXcellent recent event. We’re EXcited to bring you this newsletter and if you find it useful, do share it with your networks.

Going beyond simply 'corporate culture'

Fearless Culture

Is your culture fearless or fearful?

A fearless culture embraces risk, encourages innovation, and will learn from failure. A fearful culture disapproves of individualism, is hierarchical and punishes non-compliance.

Our Fearless Culture programme features a suite of nine modules which can be cherry-picked to suit the needs of the organisation. These are:  Purpose, Values, Psychological safety, Feedback, Rituals, Meetings, Decision-making and Norms & rules. These support organisations who want their culture to go beyond mere words on a wall.

If you'd like to understand more about building a high-performance culture which is people-centred and impactful, then do email nicholas@brandexperiences.com. More information can be found on our website.

EX Event

Our Director of Employee Experience, Nicholas Wardle (pictured left), co-hosted an event with Jo Coxhill and Simon Rutter earlier this month in Central London. Around 25 EX professionals braved the drizzle and spent a few hours discussing culture, employee lifecycles, moments that matter, and more.

The trio are planning more events in the future, so if you want to be kept informed, do follow Nicholas on LinkedIn.

Though the two terms share some similarities, they are not the same. Engagement is an outcome of Employee Experience. We do recognise, though, that for the last decade or so, engagement has sometimes been used as an umbrella term for the experience an employee has at an organisation.
