Light up your pillars of culture

The Kuwait Towers are a symbol of modernisation, prosperity, and national pride. They have held firm during the war. Inside an organisation, the pillars of culture are the values.

Here are five ways to light up your values:

- Peer-to-peer thank you cards tied explicitly to a value. Not just "great job" but why, and which value it reflects.
- New starters are introduced to the values through real stories from across the business. This will land so much better than a PPT deck ever will.
- Theme your Town Halls around a value. Give each one a moment in the spotlight rather than listing them all and moving on.
- Senior Leaders name-check the values in emails, in presentations, in casual conversation. If it doesn't come from the top, it won't stick at the bottom.
- Name your meeting rooms after your values. Small nudge. Daily reminder. Bigger impact than you'd think.

Values aren't decoration.

They're the architecture of how your culture behaves... especially when no one's watching.

Be loud about them. Be visible. And watch what happens.
