Mike Sharples



Since founding the business in 2015, Mike has led the strategy and direction of the business as CEO, preferring to be referred to as the Chief Experience Officer as, in his words "I can't think of anything more important for a CEO to focus on than the experience his organisation delivers to its key stakeholders. Get that right and success will follow."

Mike is a seasoned entrepreneur and creative thinker who enjoyed a successful career in technology sales and marketing, setting up his own software company during the rise of the internet, before spending many years as a consultant helping businesses create and develop new products and markets.

Mike believes that life is all about experiences and he loves socialising with friends and family—normally focused around food or music—and is an enthusiastic amateur chef and DJ. He also loves to travel and experience different cultures.

He is motivated by making a difference and is committed to helping improve the lives of 5 million employees by 2030 and utilising the mojo platform to drive people sustainability— what he calls the 'Human Energy Transition'— by helping organisations switch from extrinsic to intrinsic motivation of their employees.

He enjoys talking about brands, culture, sustainability, ESG, UN SDG's and, of course, the Human Energy Transition.
